Frequently Asked Questions

How long do the Event Galleries stay open?

All Online Galleries are open to view and purchase for a period of 30 days after the gallery is first opened to the public (typically within 2 weeks of the event) During this time, images can be viewed and purchased. Digital images that have been purchased can also be downloaded during this time.

What happens when the Event Gallery closes?

Once the gallery is closed, the images are removed from the website and archived. You will no longer be able to view images, nor will you be able to download previously purchased digital images.

Any requests for purchases of images from a closed event may incur a $45 archive retrieval fee

How are digital photos delivered?

When you complete your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email which contains a link to each digital photo you have purchased. You will have the opportunity to download these images to your hard drive while ever the event is open. I strongly recommend storing these images securely as I will not replace digital products due to hard drive failure or if they are misplaced or accidentally deleted.

How long do I have to download my images?

You have from the time of purchase through to the Gallery's closure to download any purchased images. After this date, you will not be able to download them, as they will have been removed from the website and archived.

How do I get rid of the big watermark across my image?

All purchased images are supplied without a watermark. If you wish to have images that are not watermarked, you will need to purchase them.

Why do you have such a big watermark across all of the images in the gallery?

Typically, I do not charge an attendance fee to take photos at events, therefore I rely upon the purchases of images to run my business and provide an income. Far too often, I have seen screenshots of images from my galleries shared on social media, for which I have received no payment. Exposure, Promotion of my work, or opportunity to photograph bigger events may be noble gestures, but they do not put fuel in my car, food on my table or a roof over my head.

If you genuinely like an image and wish to support my business, the best thing you can do is buy a photo or two. And please, don't share your high-resolution downloads with others  :)
